Azraq Welcomes 352 New Ocean Ambassadors in Partnership with Coldplay and Global Citizen

(MENAFN– Atteline) Dubai, UAE – Azraq, the UAE-based marine conservation organisation, has announced a significant milestone in its mission to protect marine life, welcoming 352 new Ocean Ambassadors during its activation at Coldplay’s Abu Dhabi concert. As part of Coldplay and Global Citizen’s initiative to highlight impactful environmental organisations, Azraq engaged with thousands of fans, inspiring them to take action for ocean conservation.

Azraq’s interactive booth in the fan zone became a focal point of excitement, offering attendees immersive experiences such as face painting, a photo frame activation, and live interactions with Azraq volunteers. These engagements provided fans with valuable insights into the organisation’s key initiatives, including mangrove and coral restoration projects, as well as volunteer-driven beach and desert clean-ups.

The most significant success of the activation was the recruitment of 352 new Ocean Ambassadors, marking a significant expansion of Azraq’s community of dedicated supporters.
