AZRAQ SPONSORSHIP AND PARTNERSHIP PACKAGES
Our sponsorship and partnership packages have been designed to be as flexible as possible for businesses that would like to offer support to Azraq, while maximising exposure to our highly engaged audience. All revenue generated will go directly towards funding Azraq campaigns.
We see it as crucial that we maintain our integrity as an organisation and as such, we reserve the right to not accept sponsorship from brands that do not align with Azraq’s values. SOCIALLY SHY PACKAGES
These activities will be performed by Azraq volunteers in your company name. We will deliver a presentation to your team ahead of the activity, provide our team the equipment (bags, gloves, etc) as well as the necessary permits, then send your organisation photographs of the event in addition to providing details of the activity in an impact report. You can even choose to have selected representatives from your organisation attend!
OUR ACTIVITIES
Beach Clean Ups
Our clean ups can be undertaken anywhere within the UAE, with the permission of the landowner.
Ocean Clean Ups
We can provide scuba diving equipment, snorkelling equipment, stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
Mangrove Tree Planting
In Ajman and Abu Dhabi we can offer mangrove tree planting and kayaking.
Presentations
We can deliver presentations on a variety of Marine conservation topics.
Turtle Nesting Surveys
Sponsor our team to undertake early morning turtle surveys at Sadiyaat Island on your behalf.
Coral Reef Surveys
Sponsor our divers to undertake an underwater clean up or a coral reef survey on your behalf!
Sponsor a Coral Nursery
Sponsor the creation of a coral nursery table to help us regrow broken coral fragments retrieved from the seafloor.
Sponsor an Artificial Reef
Sponsor an artificial reef which will transform a sandy area into populous reef ecosystems that can sustain a board variety of species.
OUR PACKAGES
ANNUAL PARTNERSHIP PACKAGES.
Our annual partnership packages have been designed for businesses who would like to offer support to Azraq on a longer term basis. Each package is valid for a period of one year and all revenue generated will go directly towards the execution of Azraq campaigns*.
We offer three types of annual package:
Educate: The Educate Annual Package is designed for sponsors who would like to help us increase the pool of trained volunteers who are able to participate in our active conservation missions. Many of our projects have very intensive human resource requirements, and our ability to grow the pool of skilled conservationists has a direct relationship to the number of projects we are able to deploy, as well as the scale of positive impact we are able to create. There is a community of people who are able to contribute their time for this important work but cannot afford the training courses. Our aim is to help them be productive and get them involved in projects.
The Educate sponsorship funds are placed into the Azraq scholarship program and are used exclusively to educate volunteers by taking courses from the Azraq approved education curriculum.
To be granted the scholarship, the volunteers receiving the education scholarship program must formally commit to spend a fixed number of hours per month performing volunteer conservation work on behalf of Azraq and its sponsors.
Motivate: The Motivate Annual Package is designed for sponsors who would like to help us increase awareness of the need for action to protect and conserve our local marine environment. Azraq’s constant goal is to increase the pool of volunteers who would like to support us in our conservation missions. Support is needed in many areas, both back office and on the front line, we welcome all volunteers who have the ocean at heart.
To succeed, our projects require intense effort and teamwork. Simply put, the more people we can attract, the more we can create positive benefits for the environment.
The Motivate sponsorship funds are used to create awareness and recruitment marketing as well as events that bring likeminded conservationists and aspiring conservationists together to discuss projects. Events are co-branded with Azraq and Sponsor branding and Azraq produces photo and video content for use on social media and websites.
Activate: The Activate Annual Package is designed for sponsors who would like to get involved on the front line to protect and conserve our local marine environment. Azraq’s primary objective is to design and execute conservation missions that have positive and measurable impact on our local marine environment. These missions are led by Azraq staff in close collaboration with Azraq members, partners and sponsors.
The Activate sponsorship funds are used to execute projects such as mangrove planting, the creation of artificial reefs to increase the carrying capacity of our coastal ecosystems, as well as beach and underwater cleanup activities to remove debris and pollutants from our local waters. These activities all produce measurable outcomes that can be scientifically recorded and shared on social media and websites.
EVENT SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES.
We have designed packages for businesses who would like to offer support to Azraq, while maximising their exposure to our highly engaged audience and event attendees. All revenue generated will go directly towards the day to day running of Azraq*.
